For greater than 28 years Dr. Kamali’s passion has taken him through the cities of California collecting donated medical supplies from generous hospitals and clinics for shipment to Afghanistan. Accompanied on this quest by his only son Omar Kamali. This precious only son Omar died tragically while attending medical school at the age of 26. Dr. Aziz Kamali’s life was shattered. Dr. Kamali’s Passion and Commitment intensified after this loss. AHERO is seeking communication with Newspapers, Philanthropic Organizations, Medical Doctors, Drug Companies and Medical Equipment Manufacturers. We are committed to developing the Omar Kamali Medical Center to serve the population of Afghanistan, train medical personnel and provide emergency medical services. 100% of finances, materials and medical supplies donated will benefit the people of Afghanistan.

The mission of The Omar Kamali Medical Center, Jalalabad Afghanistan is to:

• Provide medical services to the people of Afghanistan
• Use the highest level of design and construction to develop an environmentally sound facility
• Encourage the greatest level of self-sufficiency possible for the Medical Center, its clinics and the citizens of Afghanistan
• Furnish purified water throughout our facilities
• Establish nutritional services and feeding programs to help meet the needs of the people of Afghanistan
• Provide artificial limbs to those in need
• Establish a 200-bed orphanage for children in need

The Omar Kamali Medical Center, Jalalabad Afghanistan and its clinics will operate as combat- and terror-free zones where no military or terrorist activities will be allowed to occur. Thus no weapons will be allowed within any of our facilities or on our grounds except for those of the Medical Center’s own security forces.
